Solodak Newt Girl

The Solodaks are another fictional species for my more science fiction heavy stories (with giant monsters, what else), of whom Newt Girl is a member of.

Bio-engineered from a single living source, the mother-goddess beast named Dumir, Solodaks are gigantic monstrous hybrids between multiple races from across time and space of whom they've had contact with. And no two Solodaks are ever alike in appearances because of which, even in regards to their inner workings. The only thing that connects the individual members of the Solodak race is Great Mother Dumir and their factious hatred towards all Non-Solodak life-forms. This terrible mentality makes Solodaks very war-like in nature, and often conquer planets, though only for short amounts of time before leaving to the next target, again to exhaust resources and destroy any and all Non-Solodak inhabitants.

The only thing they care for in their victims are their DNA, of whom Great Mother Dumir ingests, adds to her extensive biological library, and uses to create newer generations of Solodaks. With that said, its safe to assume that the Solodaks may have also been responsible for multiple mass extinctions on Earth, the Dinosaurs being only one of many prehistoric incidences.

And thus she shares a lot of the amphibian's characteristics, such as the ability to re-grow severed limbs. Personality wise, she is young enough to not be totally consumed by the Solodak hatred, but as with most young humans in similar circumstances, it will only be a manner of time before she goes from naive patriot (sorry, but I couldn't think of a better term), to full blown hate-monger giant warrior.

As for the back story on the BACKground (pun intended), Newt Girl is deep within the massive, wandering planetoid dubbed the Crystal Palace, of whom all Solodaks live, in between planet invasions. And although simply a planetoid, the Palace is still large enough to house such a vast army of giants, as Newt Girl is supposed to be dwarfed by her surroundings...though it really doesn't come off that way, doesn't?
