In the early 1970's the Japanese Kewpie Corporation (most well known for Kewpie-brand mayonnaise) released a deck of promotional playing cards featuring crude artwork of totally original monsters with names, related character stats and information. You can view all of these cards at the blog Pink Tentacle:

Although these 'Kewpie Corp Monsters' are fully original beasties, they have had the sad habit of constantly getting mixed up alongside the infamous Pachimon rip-offs that were also popping up throughout the 1970's, and still do to this very day, thanks to modern day otaku in Japan and ill informed vinyl collectors here in America.
However, they are still fully original monsters not based off of any existing movie and television Kaiju, like the aforementioned Pachimon
On an interesting side-note, several of theses Kewpie Playing Card Monsters were featured in a humorously micro-budget Japanese television series (likely late night fair) inspired by similar short programs like "Ultra Fight" and the recently re-discovered "Redman.
One such episode (posted below) stars the unusually popular flame-gun robot dubbed Heater in mortal combat with the reptilian meteor monster Meromeron, alongside some third 'Vietnam Army Giant'(?) whose real name I've yet to track down, and was never apart of the original card deck since he's a television original.
