The Silence, From Doctor Who

I really wanted to write up an extensive article for this illustration, but with Anime Expo 2013, coming in less than a week, and me so ill prepared for it, such plans will have to be abandoned for the time being.

Basic introduction: this is a member of The Silence, a nefarious alien species and main villains of 2011 season of "Doctor Who". They are among the more effective villains created for the revived series, even if they haven't quite reached the same levels of popularity as The Weeping Angels, and older mainstays like The Daleks.
