Description
Some rudimentary screen-captures, taken from my younger brother now deceased video project "Something Strange".
The four latter episodes of this web-series were heavily inspired by silent-era films, and early black-and-white cartoons. The second of which, my said brother utterly adores
And I was fortunate enough to preform in Episode 6 as The Brute, who was heavily inspired by comical heavies like Bluto, from "Popeye", or Pete the Cat from Disney's "Steamboat Willie". Though unlike the latter bad guy, and a little bit like the former one, The Brute does have a decent side to him.
It was a fun short to shoot, and allowed me to indulge in my campy villain aspirations. All while still dressed respectably doing so. Sadly, we lost the costume a month later, which kept me from rocking this look at conventions.

I think I remember you showed that video off before, it was nice and amusing. It was good to see it again.
