Enshohma's Original Character Sketches, PART 1

I do a lot of sketches and doodles in my spare time, and thought such minor endeavors would make perfect fodder for my DeviantART gallery...fully colored of course!

The shapely young woman is Anna Ferguson, who co-created with my friend Jesse Alonso. And comes from a considerably twisted take on the Super Sentai-style hero genre, with Anna being the dysfunctional 'Pink Ranger' of said team. She's also the veteran warrior, but unwilling leader of the group with a tragic, yet secret past. Anna tries to make up for her personal demons with a series of bad relationships and boyfriend choices.

And yet among her more sincere lovers, or perhaps even her one TRUE love, is also one of the team's recurring alien opponents!

Rogir is a humanoid tiger from an alien race named The Tribe of Jovan, who are quite technologically sabvy, yet purposely keep the surface of their home world (dubbed Jovan) a massive the jungle, while hiding their impressive cities beneath ground. Rogir however is a rouge from his people, and a hired muscle who often operates from the diplomatic crime planet Shlangy. He and Anna first met when he was employed as a henchman for crow-like slave traders named Vokorins, but durring the end of that assienment, he grew a crush of his human foe, and vice versa.

Overtime time, and other battles, Rogir and Anna started seeing each other in passionate, but occasional love affairs, but remain somewhat uneasy friends as well.

The original design for Rogir (seen interacting with Anna after one of their fights), was actually quite monstrous and ugly. In the end, me and Jesse decided to gave Rogir a more handsome demenor, and thus make him a more relaistic suiter for Anna, and practically any other lady on Earth.

So, to any of my female visitors reading this; did we succeed on the redesign?

Meanwhile, lurking in the gaps between various realities within the Multiverse, lives the Shadow Beings; a semi-physical species who outnumber any other race in the 'Whole of Existence'. Despite their overwhelming numbers that are scattered across dimensions, the Shadow Beings prefer to keep to themselves, and have nothing but great contempt for other species, of whom they refer to by the derogatory term of 'Brighties' (as in, 'not shadowy').

And it is because of this attitude, is why this majority of the Multiverse, is virtually unseen by the rest of us, minus the occasional black shape that you thought you saw moving in the corner of your eye.

But the Shadow Beings do have their more sociable rouges, and the mysterious elf-like Shadow Maiden is perhaps the best known of them all. Beyond being a wandering traveler in her free time, the Maiden sometimes acts as a 'dimensional trafficker' for individuals who need help crossing over into other realities. However she is extremely selective on whom she assists, thus making her very difficult to deal with.

Needless to say, the Shadow Maiden is also kind of stuck up, like a spoiled teenager of Victorian high society.

And last, but not least, we have the monstrous artificial intelligence simply dubbed Mega-Virus.

Alien in origin, the Mega-Virus was created by the villainous Idan scientist Thea Salon, who usually makes deadly robots to attack Earth, but went digital with this agent of destruction.

Not much to say about this rather simple character of mine, other than it's destruction and animalistic, and is something of an unofficial nemesis for a more benevolent, alien digital virus named Vi, of whom you can view, and read more about here: [link]
